Dr. Alderman completed his undergraduate training at Bellarmine College in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned his D.M.D. degree from the University of Louisville. After relocating to Indiana, Dr. Alderman earned his certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Indiana University. Following his training, he served as a full-time Assistant Clinical Professor with the Indiana University Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He later left to concentrate full time on private practice.
Dr. Alderman has successfully completed the rigorous, multi-year examination process required to become certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is proud to have achieved the status of Diplomate. Dr. Alderman is also a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis District Dental Society, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Indiana Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is currently on staff at IU Health Methodist Hospital and Riverview Hospital.
Dr. Alderman and his wife Jennifer live in Carmel Indiana with their three young children, Casey, Connor & Riley. They are active in their community and proud to make Indiana their home.
